Air Purifiers
#1
Choice of Homemakers
for over 40 years!
If you could see the air you breathe under
a microscope, you might be in for a surprise. There’s
a whole lot more in the air than you may think. In fact,
floating in indoor air is a “soup” of particles
too small to be seen by the naked eye. But large enough
to cause problems. Some of these particles can stain walls,
furniture, carpets and drapes. Some coat the inner workings
of your heating and cooling equipment, diminishing its
efficiency. And some particles, too small to be filtered
out by your upper respiratory tract (nose and throat),
can cause you discomfort. Fortunately, following these
three simple strategies—source control, ventilation
and air filtration—can reduce indoor air pollution.
Honeywell
The #1 recommended Air Cleaner brand by physicians.
Enviracaire HEPA Air Cleaners clean your air quietly -
even in larger rooms. If someone in your home has allergies,
these True HEPA air purifiers and air cleaners offer real
relief by removing pollen, pet dander, smoke, mold spores
and household dust from the air. Far quieter than regular
air cleaners, they're silent enough to use - even on high
speed - while you sleep, watch TV or talk on the phone.
Perfectly portable, they can easily be moved from room
to room.
Pollen, cat dander, tobacco smoke particles,
mold spores and household dust all contribute to poor
indoor air quality which is ranked among the top five
environmental risks to public health.
Honeywell's
enviracaire® air cleaner's True HEPA Filter is 99.97%
effective at removing these airborne particles from the
air that passes through the portable air cleaner filter.**
If you wake up in the morning with a runny
nose, itchy and swollen eyes, or experience frequent sneezing
and wheezing, you may be reacting to airborne contaminants
in your home. The problem is the indoor air you breathe.
It's loaded with microscopic dust mite allergen, animal
dander, room dust, mold spores, bacteria, viruses and
more. And because modern homes and offices are built to
airtight specifications to conserve energy, airborne particle
just remain in the air with nowhere else to go. No wonder
your system is on overload!
True HEPA filters are the best buy for
allergy sufferers because they retain virtually all airborne
contaminants, even bacteria and some viruses. By definition
these hepa purifier filters capture 99.97% of all particles
.3 microns in size and larger. Be sure to choose a filter
powerful enough for your room size. A good rule of thumb
with air cleaning is: the more times the air is filtered,
the better - you can't over clean. Honeywell air purifiers
and air cleaner units are portable, lightweight and footstool
size; they can be carried anywhere. Honeywell
QuietCare 17200 air purifier features clean air delivery
out the top of the unit. And, as the name suggests, it
is 30% quieter than comparable models. The unit comes
complete with both filters. FULL 5-YEAR MFG. WARRANTY.
NOTES: This honeywell air cleaner is great for a medium
sized bedroom and is rated for a 13x17' room size. The
air purifier Pre-Filter should be changed every 3 months
as this helps preserve the life of the main purifier filter.
One way to tell it is time to replace it is by the color.
The pre-filter is almost black in color when first installed
and turns a light gray color when it needs to be changed.
The Main HEPA air cleaner Filter should last 1-3 years
depending upon the conditions of the environment where
the unit is used. The best way to tell it is time to replace
the filter is when your air cleaner starts to pulsate.
This means that the air purifier filter is full and air
is having trouble being moved through the unit. It is
helpful to keep track of air purifier filter replacements
for your records.
A Word of Caution: No air purifier or
air cleaner will eliminate the health risks associated
with tobacco smoke. |
